About our owner

Paulette Doo, founder and owner of Blaauwklippen Cattery, has devoted her life to the care and comfort of animals, especially cats, who have held her heart since childhood. A registered breeder and experienced feline caregiver, Paulette’s love for cats runs deeper than profession - it’s personal, intuitive, and wholehearted.

She is present every day, gently overseeing each guest with the kind of attention only a true animal lover can give. Her calm nature and quiet confidence help even the most timid cats feel safe and seen, while her high standards ensure nothing is ever overlooked.

For Paulette, caring for cats isn’t just what she does - it’s who she is. And every cat in her care is treated with the same devotion she gives her own.
